Adding a Printer

Open Control Panel

Click in the search bar and type control panel, then choose open to open the Control Panel.

View Devices and Printers

When the Control Panel window opens choose View Devices and Pritners from under Hardware and Sound

Printers and Scanners

Choose Printers and Scanners from the next window

Add Device

From the top choose Add Device. The list of printers will expand underneath.

Find the Printer

Scroll through until you find your printer. Choose Add device. Windows will automatically download the drivers and install the printer. The printer will have a name that matches your room number and possibly have your name on it if it is in an office.

Printer is Ready

Once the printer is added to your computer it will say Ready underneath and appear in your list of available printers.
