There are more than one way to login to Office 365. This tutorial deals with logging in through the Office 365 apps on your computer. Logging in to the app will both license the computer so that you can use the Office apps but also give you access to use the provided online tools through Office 365.
To log into the web interface at Office.com, please go here.
After Office 365 has been installed on your device. Open any of the Office apps. For this demonstration we will be using Word.
Choose Sign in.
Use your @benet.org email address.
Use the password you use with your account. Instructions to reset this password can be found here.
If you are logging in for the first time using your Benet assigned computer please check the blue box to allow the organization to manage your device.
If you are on a personal device please uncheck the box or choose no, sign into the app only.
Click Ok.
Once added successfully, click Close.
If you need to sign out click in the upper right of the program on your initials. Choose sign out.
If you have been logged out and need to sign in, it will say Sign in in that spot. Click there and follow the steps to sign back in.
