This tutorial will show you how to login to the Microsoft portal to set up personal password change. This process will allow you to input a secondary authentication in case you need to change your password in the future. Once this is complete you can then change your password if you forget it or want a new password. This will change the password for logging into Windows, accessing the school WiFi network, and your Google account.
To access the page set up the password reset please navigate to aka.ms/ssprsetup

Input your Benet email address and then password.

It does not matter what you choose here so make a selection to login.

You must choose at least one method to authenticate who you are. This is just for when you need to change your password. It is not a 2-step authentication for logging in.

After choosing either phone number or email please input a personal email and phone number. Do not use your Benet Email address. This is the address that you will be changing the password for.
Choose to have Microsoft either text or call you (phone) or send you an email code (email).

Once you receive your code please input the code into the verification box and choose verify.

Once you verified the first device, please verify the other. You will be only asked to use one when resetting your password.

Once you have updated both choices click finish.

On the next page click your initials in the upper right and choose Sign Out.
