We are moving from the Adobe account style login to a more robust Single Sign On or SSO. This SSO will be using your Google account credentials. This will make for a much easier login experience. Before you use the Google account you will need to do some clean up of your Adobe files.
Choose the Creative Cloud app from the Start Menu. When it opens login with your Adobe credentials. Do not use the Continue with Google prompt.
If you have never used Adobe CC before and this is your first login, you can skip down to the Continue with Google steps below.
If you have not opened the Creative Cloud app in awhile it may need an update. Please be patient if an update needs to be done. It will restart when finished.
You may also be asked to confirm your account. Adobe will send you an email with a code you need to input.
Once the Creative Cloud Desktop appears choose Your Work from the upper menu. If you have been backing up items from the different Adobe CC apps you will see them here in their specific libraries. You will need to download these files to your computer, if you want to keep them.
Once the files are downloaded, logout of Creative Cloud Desktop.
Now it is time to change your account. You should be completely logged out of Creative Could Desktop and all the CC Apps.
Click on the Creative Cloud Desktop App from the Start menu. This time login with Continue with Google. You will be redirected to a web browser.
Once a web browser opens. Go through the process to login as you always do with Google.
You may be prompted to input the 2-step verification.
Since an account already exists you will be prompted to connect the Adobe ID account with your Google Account. Connect them. You will be sent an email verification to confirm idenity.
Input the code received through your email and click verify.
With that your accounts are connected.
You can now login to your Adobe CC account using your Google account.
